The people behind MLPipeKit

Five people. All from clinical data management or biostatistics. No generalists.

Sarah Lindgren

Sarah Lindgren

CEO & Co-founder

Previously a biostatistician at Syneos Health, where she managed data operations across seven Phase II and III oncology trials. Led the implementation of SDTM v1.8 mapping standards across a 4-program portfolio. Founded MLPipeKit in 2022 after six years watching manual data cleaning delay database locks by weeks on nearly every trial she worked on.

Marcus Chen

Marcus Chen

CTO & Co-founder

Former principal engineer at a clinical trial management software company, where he built the data transformation layer for an EDC platform used in 400+ studies. Holds expertise in CDISC ODM schema design, GAMP 5 system validation, and compliant software delivery pipelines. Designed MLPipeKit's rule engine and audit trail architecture.

Priya Nair

Priya Nair

Head of Customer Success

Eight years as a clinical data manager at a specialty pharma CRO, responsible for EDC build, data validation programming, and database lock coordination for NDA submissions. Joins clients during onboarding to configure SDTM mapping specifications and validation rule libraries from their existing documentation.

A small team that ships

MLPipeKit is five people operating at the depth that most teams of twenty achieve. Every product decision goes through at least one person who has sat in a data management role on a clinical trial — because features that look sensible on a whiteboard often fail in the context of a database lock sprint.

We do not have a sales team or marketing department. New customers come through referrals from existing ones. That constraint keeps us honest about whether the product actually works.

Each new customer engagement begins with a structured onboarding where we configure the platform against your actual study protocol and EDC build — not a generic demo environment. Most teams are running live validation within 5 business days.

What we look for

We hire people who have done the work we are automating. If you have experience as a clinical data manager, biostatistician, statistical programmer, or regulatory affairs specialist — and you find yourself thinking "there has to be a better way to do this" — we want to talk.

Current team members joined us from CROs, sponsor companies, and clinical software vendors. Domain expertise matters more to us than technology stack familiarity. We can teach tools; industry experience takes years.
